Large landslide destroyed one home and put several others at risk. Designed and installed monitoring system which included a rain gage, 3 vibrating wire piezometers; 2 Applied Geomechanics Tuff Tilt tiltmeters anchored to structures; and 2 Applied Geomechanics Little Dipper inclinometers installed in casing. In addition 2 Applied Geomechanics Tuff Tilt tiltmeters were installed on temporary soldier pile wall to monitor for movement. System contained an alerting function to notify personnel by page in event movement exceeded threshold values.
