Private Road Rockfall Mitigation

Timeframe: 2007 Description: KANE GeoTech, Inc. performed a rockfall investigation and hazard analysis to assess the need for mitigation along a road in Los Angeles County. Based on a field investigation and analysis of the slope, the large boulders on the ridge line were restrained with cable nets and a rockfall protection was put in place to protect from a rockfall event.
