Location: US 67, Morgan County, Illinois Timeframe: 1998 Client: Illinois Department of Transportation, Springfield, Illinois Description: Potentially unstable highway embankment adjacent to borrow pit. Installation included 8 TDR cables, 4 Slope Indicator piezometers, and tipping bucket rain gage. TDR signatures, rainfall, and water levels recorded daily for periodic downloading with laptop.
