WHALE NET DEBRIS FLOW BARRIER

Location: Catalina Island, California Timeframe: 2007-2008 Client: Long Beach Unified School District Description: KANE GeoTech, Inc. provided design input for the construction of Geobrugg protection systems to protect Avalon School from the risk of debris flows and slope failures. A Whale Net was installed to protect the school from debris flow from the slope behind the school grounds.
